Case Study

How ArchiVision made its best work easier to find through organic search

ArchiVision Architects website hero on a tilted screen

ArchiVision Architects designs residential, commercial and institutional buildings. Most of its work came through referrals, so we set out to make its projects easy to find for people searching for an architect.

The challenge

ArchiVision's projects won awards, but its website ranked for almost nothing beyond its own name. Larger firms took the first page for every search a new client might make, and the studio depended on referrals for nearly all its work.

What we did

Research

  • Found the searches clients make before hiring an architect, by project type and by town.

  • Mapped each search to a page on the site, or to a page that needed writing.

A faster, clearer website

  • Fixed slow pages, broken links and missing titles found in a technical audit.

  • Added structured data so projects and the studio appear correctly in search results.

Content around the projects

  • Rewrote each project page around the client's brief, the constraints and the result.

  • Started a monthly article on planning, costs and timelines, the questions clients ask first.

Local search

  • Completed the Google Business Profile and asked past clients for reviews.

Results

  • Organic traffic rose 60% in six months.

  • The site reached the first page of Google for its main project and location searches.

  • Enquiries from search doubled, and two came from firms the studio had never worked with.

What the client said

“For the first time, people find us before they find our competitors. The enquiries are better too: they have read about our projects and know what we are good at.”
