How Furry Friends made booking easier and kept more pet owners coming back

Furry Friends is a grooming salon for dogs and cats competing with large chains and DIY grooming. We redesigned its website and booking flow, then kept clients coming back with email and social campaigns.
The challenge
Furry Friends was well loved by its regulars but losing new customers to chain salons with slicker booking. Its website took six steps to book an appointment, and nothing reminded clients when their pet was due back.
What we did
A simpler website and booking
Redesigned the website around services, prices and a three-step booking flow.
Wrote local pages for each neighbourhood the salon serves.
Social media
Planned a weekly Instagram and Facebook calendar of before-and-after grooms and care tips.
Email that brings clients back
Set up reminders timed to each pet's usual grooming interval.
Sent a monthly newsletter with seasonal care tips and open appointment slots.
Local partnerships
Partnered with two nearby vets and a pet store for referrals and joint offers.
Results
New client bookings rose 40% in six months.
Online bookings grew 60% as the new flow replaced phone calls.
Repeat business rose 25%, driven by the reminder emails.
What the client said
“Booking used to be the hardest part of visiting us. Now it takes a minute, and the reminders bring our regulars back right on time.”
